Why we started
QMatrix started in 2023 after one too many conversations that went the same way. A business owner had paid for a website, been handed a login, and had not touched it since. The hours were wrong. The prices were two years old. The staff page listed someone who had left.
None of that was laziness. Running a business is a full-time job, and editing a website is a task that never makes it to the top of the list. The agency had done what agencies do: built the thing, trained someone for an hour, and moved on.
So we do the opposite. We build the site, then we keep it. You send a text saying what you want changed, in whatever words you like, and it gets done. Usually the same day. There is no dashboard, no ticket system, and nothing for you to remember.
Three things worth knowing before you call
Small on purpose
We are not trying to become an agency with a sales team. Staying small is what makes it possible to answer a text about your website within the hour.
We will talk you out of things
Plenty of clients arrive wanting a rebuild when they need better photos and a Google listing. We would rather do the $600 job well than sell you a $6,000 one you did not need.
Your website is not your job
You did not start your business to learn a content management system. Handing you a login is the easy option for us and the worst option for you, so we do not do it.
